Hello,

I have a 8v8 server but when I join I only see 5v5 (bots). Is there a way for me to default to 8 bots for both teams?

Also is there a way for me restricting purchasing for certain weapons (awp and autos).

Classic Casuals if you were wondering.

In your gamemode_casual_server.cfg you should be able to change these settings. This file is located in your servers FTP in the csgo/cfg/ folder. If this file does not exist just copy what is in gamemode_casual.cfg and create a new .cfg file.

For your commands you can try changing "bot_quota" to the desired amount. As for restricting weapons I do not believe CSGO supports doing this natively, so you'll need to search for an SM plugin which does this.

what is the bot_quota? It is set in a couple places, check "rcon bot_quota" in console and it will spit out the result.

My bot quote is set to zero for now.

According to the info from the steam forums it looks like a bug or something valve implemented. Apparently server users abuse bot quote to display a full server when actually they are all bots.

bot_quota just adds bots, by itself, it isn't anything that could do what you explained.
