Can donations be anonymous?

I apologize if this question has been answered before but I searched before I posted and didn't see anything that answered my question.

Now for the question.. I know someone that is hosting a server on NFO (I have their email address) and would like to anonymously donate $20 to their coffer using the NFO direct pay system. Will my personal information (first, last name, email, etc) be revealed to the person who received the donation? Or will it just show that someone donated $20 to their coffer?

Looking at my coffer ,all i see is an email address with a note saying here ya go etc.
I dont see no names.

The email address is always exposed, but you could create a special email that is used only for donations, in order to hide your identity from the recipient.

Yes it should be, I personally think that no need to show if you are doing something nice.
