Can't Be Seen Under NORMAL Preset

This is killing me! I've firstly set all the variables to those that the server documentation tells us to in order to be under the Normal preset but that still puts me under Custom for all of my servers. After that, I spent at least 30 minutes trying to mimic some settings of other servers that are currently under Normal preset. If someone is able to find out the trick to doing this, please DO share. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. I even went as far as having NFO wipe my server and start again. Then the only thing I changed was the name and description, and refreshed... shows up as custom.

So something is going on.

Yes, and it seems to be specific to NFO. Please resolve as soon as possible!

Had them do another wipe, the only thing I changed was the server name. Now its custom again, and changing it back to the default name doesn't fix it either...

Ok, IF I remove ALL entries from startup.txt I can get my server to show Normal

Going to try using Procon and setting up everything, avoiding the NFO "Easy Setup" panel.
I've already edited the server name and it works, so I'll keep adding things and testing to see if/when it becomes custom.

When setting up with procon, those changes will not stick if it works like it did in bf3... you have to edit the server side config to get the changes to stick.

I attempted creating a startup.txt from the official bf4 rcon documentation using only the listed values and it still shows as custom. This is what I used.

icewolf - you have your server set to hardcore and it actually shows hardcore and not custom?

Could you post the contents of your admin/startup.txt?


*edit* - nevermind, your server is Normal, not hardcore. This is a hardcore issue only.
