Reserved slots for Official servers

I was wondering if NFO can please give EA the feedback that we'd like to have the server join queue working again. I understand their decision to disable AggressiveJoin auto-kick for VIP, but to not have a queue at all, that doesn't make any sense. It would be even better if VIP slots working for the Official servers. Myself and the other guys who pay for the server can't even get on our server when it's full. So if you guys get a chance to give feedback to EA, please give this feedback.

The queue was working in the beta, I think it is just something they forgot to implement, or is not fully working so they disabled it.

I don't. When WE are paying for servers and number of slots and we can't give priority to the people who are paying for the server to join it ???? Again, another ridiculous decision.

Supposedly, the AggressiveJoin auto-kick is disabled only for the Official servers where they disabled kicks altogether. It should be working for non-Official servers, AFAIK. Are you guys saying the Queue and VIP slots aren't working at all for any type of servers?

Mr. Edge, my suggestion to EA would be to make it work similar to how Source servers work. Say, we can have a 32 man server, maxplayers set to 30, if a VIP is attempting to join, maxplayers raises to 31 and lowers to 30 if they leave. Thats a real reserved slot... kicking your server community so you can join is stupid.. i'd never want to play on a server where I was kicked for another player. I'm more than happy having my server be maxxed out and im not in it. Gives me a break to play somewhere else for a change

That is correct. The queuing functionality has not yet been enabled for servers of any type for any GSP.

From what I heard, they'll enable queues once they sort out what made them turn it off. This was somewhere on the BF4 subreddit.

John, once they do enable it, and I choose to make Reserved Slots, can I choose the message the person, that got kicked, receives? Or is it a generic Kicked by Admin message?

Bart, that isn't configurable. It's a good idea, though.

yes, a message to the kicked player like you have been kicked for a VIP slot would at least help them understand why they were moved out of the server.

I noticed there is now a "PREMIUM PRIORITIZED" in the queue line, I haven't seen it before, but does that mean that they're also working on VIP slots as well for us owners?

I'd expect so. It seems like they're slowly working their way through the entire system and then, hopefully, at the end it'll be fully in place with all the features/options it should have.

Still curious/odd that they removed banners.... I never understand why those get disabled. A few people putting up NSFW/XXX stuff or something? Sad if so.

Is the VIP slotting working now since the join Q is active -- has anyone tested that yet?
