Map loads 3 times in a row

Post by FourTwoFour »

Does anyone get that? Doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes it loads 2-3 times.. what the hell. These new patches broke the game even more

Do you have server with a preset mapcycle selected, but with our map cycler enabled, and is this right after a restart? If so, then our system is doing that. To initialize your custom map cycle and get onto your chosen map, it needs to flush out the default one after the server is started.

Not using any of those things. I'm only using a custom map list and that's it :) I have no idea why this happens (I am sure it's not related to NFO, I thought I would just ask here) could it be that I'm running RCONNET and Procon? Same map list tho, don't see why it would do that. It also happens randomly.

If your using several rcon tools as well as the admin panel here with map rotations, it's best to clear them all and use only one to handle your map list in case of conflicts.

They might handle map changing in different ways.

There's a balancer which I want to use from RCONNET + other plugins that don't exist for Procon and there's Procon plugins that I HAVE to use in order to keep the server with high tickets etc. So I can't really stop using them : /

Could it be that I set it to US vs CN only and it's getting bugged on maps that are usually US vs RU by default so it's reloading the map to switch it to US vs CN? I disabled it and testing now.

I had this problem. Found out it was the adaptive server size plugin from procon I recently downloaded. If the max server size is set to 70 slots it will restart the map over and over. This setting needs to be changed to 64 for a 64 slot server.....

I was thinking about this... I just disabled it a few minutes ago, going to test. The reason I set it back to 70 before was because when I set it to 64 the server becomes custom. Any idea how to fix that?

Thank you for helping me out. I'll let you know if it gets fixed. I knew it wasn't RCONNET interfering with Procon because it was working just fine for days.

Any time I make a change in easy setup, the vars.preset normal setting dissappears from the startup file. After getting help from a ticket with NFO, they had me run that command (in the console tab in procon) and the server reverts back from custom to normal. I just need to remember to add that line to the startup file after making changes in easy setup.

It seems to be working fine for now. By the way, if you want the preset to be Normal at all times, try this http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... 817#p51817

You can have 1600 tickets and Normal preset. Thanks to TimSad for sharing :)

I wasn't saying not to use them all.
Just only use one to run your maplist.
