i set up phpbb2 forum in my NFO webspace and am getting the install form over and over ..after fill out the boxes and click "start install" on the bottom it says:

An error occurred trying to update the database
Table 'phpbb_auth_access' already exists

I'm ready to pull my hair out!

change the table name to something else. I had same prolbem

i changed the prefix
phpbb_
to something else ans it let me reinstall

I think anything should work. Try Phpbb2nd_ or something else.
