Cannot connect to VDS after changing location.

Post by dedi »

Hello,
I changed location of the VDS. Status of server is "running".

When I try to connect through remote desktop, I get message:

"Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled
2) The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network

Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled."

I've tried to reboot system, turn it off and on - didn't help.
How can I fix this ? I bought it today and need it fast :/

Check the events log in your control panel. There will be a post about your IP's changing and a link explaining how to change your IPs so you can connect.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
