Dayz/Lingor command lines

Post by .=QUACK=.Major.Pain »

Not really knowing what these do in the command lines,

-cpuCount=4 -maxMem=1578 -exThreads=7

If I have 2 servers running, can you over use cpus, etc.?
Thinking if each server has the same above settings, then cpucount would equal 8?
If your running a 3 or 4 core vds or your smallest dedi with 4 cores, wouldn't 2 servers be surpassing the limits?

Parameter setting for -cpuCount and -exThreads are no longer neccessary since ArmA2:OA version 1.59, the server sets them automatically (and correctly). -maxMem setting is also not required. It can be a bit different for clients, especially Windows XP, but on general, I would not recommend changing these parameters yourseld. Here is the link to the Wiki thread, explaining these (and other) parameters:

How do you use these commands? Or is that just for admins?

They were used in the commandline for starting the server, but are no longer needed.
