Gamecp Connection Problem

Hello,

I have been trying to connect gamecp-remote to my gamecp webserver but some error is always preventing it from happening.
i am using Windows server 2012 R2 and my ip is 31.186.251.205

What is your installation path?

Are you using start.bat?

Path is
C:\GameCPRemote

I used start.bat and nothing happened so I tried to run "GameCP-Remote" directly and it showed that error.

Do you have anything in task managers process list that looks like "GameCP-Remote"?

Click start and type "services" and press enter.

In the box that pops up, do you see something like "GameCP-Remote"? If so what is its status?

Yes I checked it all and Gamecp-remote service isnt there.It has to start first in order to appear in services' list...right?

No, it should appear there after the install, and the start.bat should start it. Would you mind adding me on steam, the button is in my sig.

For anyone that sees this problem, the error in the screenshots occurs when you try to start a service directly. The batch file(that you are supposed to use included with gamecp) has the command "net start "GameCP-Remote". "net start" being the required method of starting this service.

The OP ended up abandoning gamecp, we couldn't get it to work properly, and gamecp has very little documentation relating to troubleshooting.

If you are paying for your control panel then just go for the very best in the market. Now, I don't use control panels, but from what I heard TCadmin is the best one out there.

Just a suggestion, if you are planning to run your server from Windows the just use remote desktop access as it works fine and you don't need anything. I would suggest doing the same for linux with putty, but that's not for everyone.

Oh and if you are concerned about ftp then just install Filezilla server.
