I recently purchased a Virtual server from NFO. I have been trying to install an H2V dedicated server and so far have been unsuccessful.
A little background - I have been administering H2V servers for 3 years. I have installed H2V servers on multiple dedicated server providers and home pc's successfully.
For H2V you have to install GFWL which sometimes can be a pain. You can test the installation by logging into GFWL marketplace, which I have tested successfully on the server. The rest of the install is installing the dedicated server, applying one patch and configuring the server (entering license key, and account information).
When I try to run the server I get (from event viewer) -
Title H2Server.exe (1.00.00.11122) XLive 3.5.0092.0 (WGX_XLIVE_V3.05_RTM(panblder).110928-1730) C:\WINDOWS\system32\xlive.dll
0x8015190e
XLive Logon Failed

192.223.27.175

LogonHR == 0x8015190e
Games for Windows - LIVE DLL
I have tried multiple accounts and all are valid accounts (they are Xbox Live/GFWL accts). I can successfully logon onto Xbox Live via a web page from the server with the accounts (plus they work in GFWL Marketplace from the server).
Searching the web I have tried everything I could find. The one thing I did find that I cannot check ( at least I don't think I can) is the MTU setting. If the MTU is too low GFWL will fail. It seems that the MTU is set at the Router. Can you share what the MTU setting is?
Here are links describing the MTU issue -

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Your VPS are customized and I can't tell if something is affecting the game.
I have tried Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2003 X86. I have used both OS successfully on other machines.
Thanks!

Could you post a snippet of the outbound TCP traffic to/from the external server in question, from another machine where it does work? I can check and see if I see anything unusual about it that might cause it to be blocked.
The MTU used here is 1500 across the board.
