Changing the game the server is running?
Hello, I want to know if I can change the game the server is running. Right now I am hosting a Garry's Mod server. But I really want to change it to be a Counter Strike: Global Offensive server. Since they are both source games, I would think you could probably be able to simply convert it. I need to know if I can just simply change it or have to buy a whole new server. Thanks.

You can do this by doing a change order. Here are instructions for doing this.

@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Worth noting if it wasn't clear, changing your server will delete the files on the old server. If you were to switch to a CS:S server all of your GMOD files are deleted.
If you have something like an unmanaged server, or a managed dedi/vds you can easily run the servers side by side by simply installing the files and booting it up.
