I'm New to this VDS world I've ran CS 1.6 Servers thru Gameservers for 10 years plus. I'm realizing this is the cheaper and Better way to go for multiple servers. What I'm looking for is someone who is familiar with Running servers thru VDS. I will be a Life Long CUSTOMER for NFO. I'm currently having 2 Mod's for CS 1.6 Worked on that will bring back Long lost Cs Junkies. Whoever wants to hook up and show me how to do all this stuff, Can Have a server on my expense. Thanks.
If you use the managed server option, it's pretty much like running a regular server in our system . You would have some more options that you can choose to use or not use, like adjusting the command line and the ability to wipe/repair your server at any time.

And also as for Clients downloading the Sprites,Models,Sounds I have for this New Roll The Dice Mod it's A Little over 2,000 Megabytes/ Under 3 Gigs. Will this be an issue?

Hey Frontline, if you are used to running a normal game server, then a managed VDS would be your best bet. It's quite easy to do, my clan just got a managed VDS, and I had servers set up and running with no problems. There is no learning curve with a managed VDS, an unmanaged VDS might have a learning curve, though.
I'm pretty sure you could start with a managed VDS, see if it meets your needs, if you need more access to the server you could switch it to an unmanaged one.
Also the forum is full of people willing to help answer any questions you might have...
I have been running 1.6 servers for quite a while now with nfo. As everyone else I would suggest you to choose managed install, but if you really wanna set it up your own way then hit me up. I might be able to help ya.
