[Debian] If VPS Restarts, start cod4_lnxded automatically

Post by Intrepid »

Hi there, I've installed a cod4 server on my Debian Linux box. The question I'm asking is how do I run the startup script "/home/username/cod4/start.sh" automatically if the virtual private server is to restart unexpectedly?

Note: All start.sh simply does is start cod4_lnxded with the correct parameters.

Thank you

There are a few options you can use to run it as a service. You also could consider setting up a cronjob, using the @reboot time, or by adding a script to /etc/inid.d
