So I've got a domain hosted with GoDaddy, and it was working all fine and dandy yesterday, but it seems to not be working today. The things I have changed so far settings wise are as follows: On GoDaddy's end I changed the A record for @.mydomain.com to the IP of my game server (Pretty sure this was a terrible mistake) and I changed the nameservers to NFO's nameservers. On NFO's side I deleted the subdomain that was hosted for me by NFO and added my GoDaddy domain.
If anyone can help me that'd be great, I'd just like to get the website back to working condition. Thanks for your time.

If you're going to keep your domain hosted with GoDaddy, you will need to use GoDaddy's nameservers. If you'd like to move your domain to our webhosting, that is when you would opt to use our nameservers. As soon as you switch your nameservers back to Godaddy, the DNS records you set there should begin working again.
As for the records themselves, setting an A type record for the "@" listing will make the root of the domain point to that IP address. For instance, if your site was called "ILoveNFO.com", that domain would point to your server IP.

Where do I find my website's IP address to put it into my host records?
Re: [Noob] I really need help setting up an off-site domain
Are you referring to the IP given to you by GoDaddy for your site?

The IP for my NFO web host, that's what I need to put into GoDaddy right?

If you're wanting to host the domain here with us, then all you need to do is change the name servers for the domain, then add the domain via the "Domains" tab of your NFO control panel.
