Alright, I know this is extremely noobish, but I really don't have any experience in this field.
I've purchased a VPS from here. Heard a lot of positive reviews so I decided to give it a try.
Now, I need to set up my server, so as far as I know I need to use FileZilla to transfer everything I need from my PC to my VPS.
Now, I don't know how to obtain the username & password to connect into my FTP, I'd really appreciate some help here.

Sounds like you have an unmanaged VDS. In this case you'd need to setup your own FTP server. We have a guide on how to do this here for Windows.
