Only some can connect to our IP

Hello,

So the story is that only some people can connect to the 2 servers running of of our VPS (TeamSpeak and Minecraft). Others just see it as if it was completely down... when of course it is up and running.
I know it isn't just those servers, because those people who cant connect to anything can't even access the FTP, or anything related to the server.

A clue to what is going on will help, thanks.

PS: We still have staff who can access everything, so we can do stuff.

Are these clients connecting through Savvis/CenturyLink/Qwest in Chicago? That NSP is having serious issues in that city which are causing problems for many clients to many destinations. They've said that they're working to resolve the issues this morning.

Actually, it just gets weird from here, we have noticed it is only people from Australia who are having issues.

Ok, it is confirmed that it is only Australian connections that are having issues. I also noticed that when trying to connect to a webpage from our VPS, it loads partially, and takes around 10-20 minutes for it to finish loading, so it seems like a really slow connection.

We had some other Australian users who were having problems with Chicago services because of the problem I mentioned and the path that their ISP was causing the traffic to take on the way back. We're not a customer of CenturyLink, and neither is Internap in Chicago, so thankfully it is not affecting many users overall.

CenturyLink should have that issue resolved later this morning.
