Does each VPS customer on a machine have a total of 1 Gbps port speed, or is it shared with the other users on the machine?

The 1 Gbps is shared with other customers on the same machine, in most cases. We haven't seen this cause problems, but when we see more usage, we will start upgrading to 10GE everywhere. That is inevitable, just as the switch from 100 Mbps to 1000 Mbps was
