VDS Upgrade

Post by dandsk »

I am getting confused...

Say right now one of my VDS's is a 1 core and that it has a recurring payment cycle on the second day of every month, and want to upgrade it to a 2 core VDS. As of 4/26/14, there is only 6 days left until another payment has to be made. If I were to upgrade now, would I only have to pay the 'Pay Now' price, and have 1 month of the 2 core package, or pay the 'Pay Now' price, and then pay the 2 core price on the next recurring payment month (which is the second of every month) which would be on 5/2/14?

Thanks!

Upgrades are handled by prorating the cost of the upgrade for the remaining time left in your billing cycle. So if there were six says left in your package you'd likely end up paying for a few dollars to receive the upgrade immediately, than when your package renews you'd pay the full package price.

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
