VDS porblem

Post by victoroy »

Hi , i ahve a 4 Core VDS with 10240 MB of RAM , im running 32 MTA:SA game servers in a TCAdmin Game panel , each server needs like 100Mb and didnt use to much CPU , just when the server start need CPU but running no

Here is my problem my VDS get Down !! and in the firewall i get this:

tcpdump: WARNING: vbr.2: no IPv4 address assigned
tcpdump: verbose output suppressed, use -v or -vv for full protocol decode

I stop the TCAdmin web panel and all the game servers same error

I just can acces via VNC but not Web or ssh

Also i check sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces and is correct

What is the output of ifconfig? Is your IP address shown there?

That is a normal message from our "Firewall" page.

Does a reboot make a difference for you? If so, please check this: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =47&t=8980.

What I was trying to ask: After you reboot, does the system work normally for some period of time?

Yes, post the output to "ifconfig".

I restart the server , all normal , then in like 10 to 15 minutes , i lost SSH conexion and Web and all down , i just can acces via VNC

Then after some hours the VNC screen turns Black and i lost acces to the server via VNC and SSH too

I intall a Ookla Server 1 weak ago , and then the server crash , then in like 3 days crash , now crash each 15 minutes

I try to run the VDS with out the Ookla server , same problem

Here is the IFCONFIG screenshot

That is a huge photo and not a screen shot =\.

You should try the ethtool fix, then, definitely. If you don't have ethtool installed, then you can install it through the package manager for your distro -- "apt-get install ethtool" or "yum install ethtool" or "emerge ethtool", for instance.

Do you see any errors in "dmesg" output?

Have you tried backing up your files and reinstalling the OS?

You could try buying a new IP($2) and assign it to the VDS, then see if you can connect with that instead of your original ip.

After you assign a new IP to your OS, if you restart MySQL it will bind to all available addresses by default.

I am not saying it will work for sure, but it is an idea to try, and much cheaper than buying a new VDS to use as a backup.

My idea is to move all my files and databases to a new VDS , then in this VDS install windows and delete all files , then i will transfer all my files from the Backup VDS to my existing VDS

From what I can understand from your screenshot. Your computer is using internal ip when it should have stated external ip.

Your inet adr should indicate your external ip and not internal. Did you manage to install ethtool ? From what it seems your machine for some reason is not able to take the external ip that is assigned to you.

You got to provide your distro, so we can further try to help you.
