Connection error with xbox?

I want to use the NFO server to vpn and play on xbox, cause it is nice and fast on my location.

The thing is, it worked a while ago when I first got NFO.

But now, it doesn't

Any other server I use like OVH connects fine.

But NFO does not

can anyone help?

I setup everything correctly, because I can connect to the internet, and I am even posting this thread on the connection right now

on xbox it wont connect to live

i dont know why

when i test

it says.

Connection between xbox and pc is good

it says the Network can connect to the internet

but something is up that wont let xbox connect


but it isnt on my end

Same settings but different provider (OVH) Does work

Your issue is a little tough to diagnosis from our standpoint, unfortunately :/

If the network is clearly working and you can connect to the VDS than it likely means something within the VPNs configuration is off. While you're connected to the VPN are you able to access everything else? Is it just Xbox live which won't connect?

yes, only xbox live, literally everything else works

IS NFO blocking anything?

Anything port related? Or IP? Or DDos Protection?

I have all open ports on my computer, my PC is on DMZ mode, and my connection is a 50mbit + speeds and I connect to the vpn easily and fast

On Xbox, it says Internet access works.

I just cannot connect to xbox live servers

I noticed that you did a location move for your VDS on the 7th(same day as your original post). Did you properly remove your old IP and update to the correct IP within your network adapter?

If not, follow this guide to do so.

Also be sure that you're using GoogleDNS, which is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

i jsut reinstalled the whole OS and reinstalled Openvpn.


as I said, internet not an issue,

something just won't work with xbox and nfo at the same time.

Also, I just checked, and the IPs are the working current ones anyway in those config files, so I didn't have to change anything

also, yes im using google dns

From the VDS itself are you able to ping or traceroute to an Xbox live IP? If you don't have any of those, try connecting to the VPN and opening up Xbox live. Then using the "Firewall" tab in your control panel to take a few dumps. This should reveal what you're connecting to.

Looks like 65.55.42.183 would be your Xbox live IP. Try running a trace route from the VDS to that IP and post the result.

It looks like you may have ran that from your computer while connected to the VPN. Try doing it directly from the VDS itself. We need to determine if the VPN is causing the problem here.
