I noticed now you guys made the minimum requirement for managed servers 4 cores instead of 3...it use to be 2 a while back.
Were there any announcements?

There was no official announcement, but with this change we did add a KB article about why.

I see, I already have two VDS servers, was going to get another one with 3 cores instead of 4...to save money so I can run a linux managed server to run certain linux games.

As we lower prices, we have to raise the minimum core count for managed service. As always, current customers are grandfathered in for as long as they keep the same service with the same configuration, but usually it is a good deal to upgrade.
