Iam just wonering if somebody would design a clan webisite for me, Nothing complicated , pretty simple design. And how much would it cost?

I dont have any experience in this stuff so Iam not sure if I can. Yeah exactly , you got some tip or links?

phpBB, ipboard and vBulletin are a couple that aren't hard to install.
Most use auto installers so all you have to do is follow the step by step install.
Usually only requires your database login info.

They are sort of similar but mods, skins, themes for the most part can vary.

Getting used to the permissions can take some learning.

I use XenForo, these days thats the best forum solution right now. Much more simpler than the other ones.

Id rather not run the risk of getting a DMCA notice for stolen website software.

I personally run IPB, it is quite expensive, but if you have the money to spare it is well worth it, it comes with very helpful support that will go as far as logging into your server to help you fix any issues.

As for setting up a community website, all of the software packages mentioned are great options. I am a fan of SMF for free community/forum software. http://www.simplemachines.org/

Yeah we have been getting a DoS that exhausts our VDS's memory. I am going to order a separate VDS for SQL soon and run mysql/apache separately I think. It is fixed for now.

Depending on how much traffic you get on your website a shared hosting might do it, unless you intend to run a custom web server.

We max out 3 cores often. In addition our SQL installation is around 5GB(NFO uses a small-ish partition of SSD space for shared hosting, and database exporting needs to be done through phpma which is impossible with larger databases, command line is killed after a short time too). We also run hlstats deamons which isn't allowed on web hosting.

I also like the freedom to use the VDS for test servers, install and update software on my own, and we use SSD space for website files, even though most pages are cached in RAM, i still prefer this configuration.

If you are looking for free ones then I would personally recommend Mybb. It's free and has a good support with mods and stuff. I used to use it before switching to vbulletin, but would still recommend mybb, if you don't wanna spend money.
