VDS and Domain

Post by LaocheXe »

Is there a way to set up a domain name to a VDS so instead of using an IP people could use abc.net ?

I tried to use the server names NS1.NFOSERVERS.COM and NS2.NFOSERVERS.COM but no luck.

Set your domain to use the IP of your VDS as an "A record".
You should be able to use any of your IP addresses if you have multiple.

It depends on where you have your domain registered and "hosted", I'll list a few tutorials from different domain registrars I know of.
