This webhosting is confusing af please help...
So why can't I just get an IP to forward to rather than having to switch to your DNS server? I can't even see how you set up an srv record on your DNS. I would much rather use godaddy's dns servers tbh it's all working and all of my stuff is set up properly. Also I highly suggest cpannel this is far too confusing.

Sorry if this sounds a little rude I am just very frustrated.

There's a knowledgebase on these forums for that. In that, you can find a thread specifically for creating SRV records.

Just as I figure it out right before you sent me this. Well I highly suggest doing webhosting like a normal company would do it because I was about to cancel to be honest. Most users wont be happy about having to use your dns server rather than their own.Decicus wrote:There's a knowledgebase on these forums for that. Everything is working now the site works and it's pretty fast so other than the interface the hosting is good.

Prices are low because NFO doesn't have to pay for a control panel license. Adding cPanel support would require way too much dev time, in addition to raising costs to make sense. NFOs control panel has just about everything you need, it is just new so it seems confusing.
