I recently made a support ticket to nfo regarding how to make a forcedownload.lua file, and they said to use "Fox-Warrior's Resources Generator" to quickly code all of the file paths. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to use this program. I read the instructions on the download page but I found it very vague, so help on how to use this program would be appreciated!

That specific tool is very easy to use and assumes you have all of the content you want to upload on your personal computer. All you need to do is open it up and select "File" > "Select directory". Choose the directory you want and repeat this step until you've added all of your directories. Once that's done select "File" > "Generate lua file".

Yes, in my last post I said I closed it because I found the title to be kinda miss leading. How could I delete that post? I am new here.
Also, when choosing a file directory for the resource generator, does it need to be a directory on my hard drive or could I choose a directory via ftp? The reason to this is because the server is not run off of my computer.
You can't delete post, only the staff can. I'll go ahead and take care of it.
You need to select a local directory on your computer. maps should also never be added to a force download file. The server will automatically call them to be downloaded upon being switched to it.
