Need help making this domain password protected! [URGENT]

I need to make this password protected

But I tried last time and it made it password protected but it also made my forums PW protected which I didnt want. How do I make everything but the "forums" folder pw protected?

Is there a reason it needs to be password protected?

If you just want to avoid people being able to view the contents of that directory, place a blank index.html in the folder.
