Some of you may be aware that the Epoch team is currently in the process of developing an Epoch mod for Arma 3. You may also be aware that over this past weekend they experienced some issues with their existing server providers and as a result several servers were shut down without warning by the hosts. I'm not up to speed on all the dirty details, but needless to say they are in need of server space.
Given that NFO is one of the best in the business when it comes to server hosting, and Epoch is the biggest and most respected mod out there for the Arma series, it stands to reason that if the two of you were to get together it could be a beneficial partnership for the both of you. If NFO provides a sponsored server box for the Epoch team it would be some great advertising for NFO and it would be a big help to the Epoch development team, as it will help them conduct their testing and development and consequently make an awesome mod for the community.
So if John or another senior manager from NFO could maybe get in touch with the Epoch team I'm hoping you guys could work something out.
We are big believers in helping out the community, especially game developers and mod makers.
NFO does not generally offer sponsorships. The main exceptions are test servers and small VDSes used for legitimate mod development, as we feel that supporting mod developers is an important community service in its own right, even when it doesn't directly benefit NFOservers. http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =22&t=9026

It really is best if he sends us an email to support@nfoservers.com. There we'll be able to handle it immediately and get is escalated to the proper people.

I'm quite interested to know if the Epoch team did contact NFO about hosting the mod.
Any update the community might be able to get to know anything about?
They did contact us and we're currently speaking to them via our request system.

We didn't make much progress on unfortunately. What they wanted wasn't really feasible.
