Would anyone PLEASE help finish installing Battlefield Vietn

I have been trying to find a computer guru to finish installing this game on NFO server and havent had much luck. I have even tried paying someone from "Odesk" and he gave up! Im NOT a computer guru by any means. This server is for a disabled guy that I am the caretaker for! It means a shitload to him. If you need some cash just let me know!

What have you completed thus far? Are you following a guide and got stuck? If so, what guide did you follow and where did you get stuck?

The actual game appears to be uploade, the "dedicated server" program is there. I have tried a few things but like I said I am NOT a computer guru and am stuck at what to do next! If NFO offered the managed on this game that would have been done! We used "game Servers.com" and wow the lag and desk help were was bad! If you send me instructions tell me like I am a 3rd grader ok! If you want to look at it your self let me know and Ill send the server login etc!

What happens when you double click the dedicated server exe?

We do not offer BF:Vietnam because GameSpy discontinued support for it earlier this year. Prior to that, we did offer this game.

It is likely that you will need to apply a workaround to make it work, such as using a 3rd party service like qtracker. I have not attempted this personally.

The only thing that comes up is "start server" on the "Battlefield Vietnam server program", it looks like its running but it doesnt show up on the multiplay option on the game itself!

I was able to get this up and running. After a quick edit to the windows hosts file, putting the dedicated server exe in the list of allowed programs on the firewall, and opening the 2 ports the game server requires in the firewall, the server is showing up on qtrackers browser, as well as scanning on GT
