Chivalry Deadliest Warrior

Is there anyone with experience with Chivalry:DW on a VDS. I was wondering what sort of slot count I should run on my VDS for Chivalry:DW. Right now im running a 4core that is also running a 44 slot BF4 Server.

UE3 is not very efficient on a VDS. I'd expect for 32 slots to be doable, but I don't know whether you'd be able to get much beyond that.

When I ran my Chivalry server on my VDS, I never went beyond 32 slots. With a BF4 server already on there, 24 would probably be as high as you want to go. BF4 is already a resource hog, adding another resource hog may cause your servers to hover in the 60-80% CPU range, which is kind of high.

48 slots is about as high as you want to go with BF3/BF4 servers. Though, you can go higher if you don't want to be covered under our performance guarantee.

We actually toned it back to 44 slots on bf4 to help with the rubberbanding. Even on a 2690v2 only running 44 slots after the server has been full for -8 hours we get consistent rubberbanding on hainan resort, lancang dam and paracel storm. The rubber banding does not happen on oher maps. So ill start with 24 slots on chivalry and see if it fills and how that goes.

Those have been complaint maps since the release, unfortunately :/ I thought they would have improved them by now.

About 4 patches ago they had made some changes and the lag on those maps was gone. With the roll out of high freq updates and some other stuff its back. I just hope they do a better job with battlefront.
