Scratch it, removed all files and re downloaded with proper app numbers.

Anyone found a good way to do mass updates to various HL1 and HL2 servers? Or at least a mailing list that covers all the server instances so one can know when updates are pushed out?

Updates are announced on the hlds mailing list for valve games. I haven't seen DOD:S updated since I subbed to the list, but TF2/CS:GO updates are announced there.

https://list.valvesoftware.com/

You can write a .bat file to handle steamcmd updates with 1 click.

Got the CS:GO notification last night, fantastic!

Are the tickrates for CSS and DOD:S still locked at 66? I've put the parameter in the start line incase the are unlocked.

Also set the tickrate for CS:GO to 66 as well, unless the default is different on that as well.

CS:S is locked to 66 by default, but it can be changed with a server addon:
http://didrole.com/tickrate_enabler/

I haven't seen any issues with this addon yet on my CS:S BHOP server.

CS:GO default tickrate is 64, and can be changed up to 128 using the command line.

Seen FPS on CS:GO show 10FPS before? The server is idle which is most likely the reason. All other servers show proper FPS at all times, idle or not.

CS:GO hibernates when empty to preserve as many resources as possible. It is normal :)
