Getting "Game is unavailable please try later" mes

Trying to connect to our server (SP3), and getting:

"Game is currently unavailable. Please try later" I tried restarting the server, and restarting Steam - didn't help. I tried updating the plugin_CS.amx file right before this started happening. I restored file to original version but I'm still getting the above message.

Please help?

Try completely closing steam and then starting it back up again.

if that doesnt work, right click on CS and go to properties. If it says "needs update" go to the dropdown menu and select "automatically update this game". that should force steam to update it.

OK, now I'm sure the server is OK because others can connect. Thanks for the tips, I will try to force CS to update.

yeah steam can be really nice and can suck ass...it seems to mess up on me in crucial situations like cal matches etc. it will hopefully get better
