Looking to rent, just a few questions

Hi, I'm looking to rent a Garry's Mod server, and just want to know a few things before I do.

Are .php files restricted from being uploaded via FTP? (The in-game donation addon I have uses them)

Are .dll files restricted from being uploaded via FTP? (The admin mod I have uses them)

Is an auto-restart timer included? (can I set the server to restart at ex.6pm every day?)

None of those files are restricted, and yes you can schedule what times you want your server to restart.

.php files won't run on the game server, because it requires a webserver and PHP, but all shared game servers do include free webhosting, where PHP is installed. The free webhosting does include FTP.

You can use the free webhosting from here or just another random free host to use the .php things you want to do. In my server, we upload to a webhost. So, yes, everything should work fine.

I'd recommend doing your homework if you pick another free host as many overload their servers and insert ads on you. I used to have a list of decent ones but I haven't needed one for a few years so that list is gone :/
