Changing description with phpBB

So I recently downloaded phpBB to use for my forums. I was trying to change the text that said "A short text to describe your forum" I seen were it said that in two locations. I changed them both to say what I wanted them to say. Then I save in the FTP. Then I go on the website and they didn't change. Is their anything i can do to fix this? Thanks

Also I was wondering if I should use myBB or phpBB. I don't know what one is better. A friend of mine uses myBB and it seamed cool but i don't really know. I am looking for forum manager thats good for darkRP.

You should be able to edit this in your ACP by going to "board settings". Are you saying you tried this but it didn't work?

As for your forum software. Both are actually decent and pretty much do the same thing. It's really just personal preference. Personally, I'd choose phpBB, but that's just because I've used it for years and I am familiar with it.
