Re: bec settup
May I ask what the entire host file looks like?

Re: bec settup
You need to remove the "#" before the entry or it will not work.

I removed the # restarted server it didn't work
I did ipconfig/flushdns restarted server still didn't work
so I check files against my test server all files the same and ( my test server works great)
so I stared up my arma2 server and everything works great
all files have been verified
I even sent arma3 bec to arma2 bec still didn't work
now I am at a lost to what to try next

Re: bec settup
Can you you clarify on what you are trying to do? Editing your host file is just going to redirect ibattle.org to your your own computer(127.0.0.1 is a loopback address).

Re: bec settup
A localhost redirecting to ibattle.org is not required to run BEC. BEC was shut down/discontinued by the author after the BI monetization step, but the BEC interface still works. What does not work is the reporter module (which uses/used the ibattle.org services) and there is no way for you to use it by redirecting to a localhost (as you do not have the webserver with the applications running on your localhost).
To make it short, BEC works normally just set it up correctly in the Config.cfg file and coment out the reporter section.

Or was there anything else you want to do?#--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
