OpenVPN Lag Spikes vs PPTP on my nfo

Hi, I wanted to use OpenVPN so badly since it was much better than PPTP

however, my setup for OpenVPN was


(My Laptop) --> OpenVPN VPN ---> Share Connection to Xbox LIVE

however, when i browsed the internet while on the openvpn, my console kept freezing over and over when i went to a new site.

However, with PPTP the results were different, no lag spikes, I could browse 20 websites and go to new urls at once and have no issues.

(My Laptop) --> PPTP VPN ---> Share Connection to Xbox LIVE

same setup, but pptp has no issues

I followed the tutorial for the openvpn setup provided by NFO.

Any solution to this?
