Modded Ark Server

I was just wondering why my ark server crashes everytime I start the server with my mod command in place of the island command. Would appreciate the help if someone knows how to fix the prolem.

Can you post both command lines and any accompanying log files?

After adding TheIsland? before the mod script the server stayed up but no luck with the mod, whist adding TheIsland? after the line of command resulting in not being able to run the server so everytime someone tried to join the server crashed and/or could no find it on the server list thus having to use the ip.

If you wish to run mods on your server, you want to run the server vanilla just once, at least it is what I did. Then you have to subscribe to the mods you want, run Ark on your end and then upload those mods to your server. Youll need the .mod file and folder.

I highly recommend using the Ark Server Manager to run your server. It makes configuring and updating much easier as well. It will give you the command line you need to run the server as well, if you wish to use something like a third party program (ie FireDaemon) to run the server.
