Hi There
I have installed arma 3 to my server for altis life.
Are the ports for steam open as standard etc ? I cannot find my server in the server list and there are no errors in the .rpt log to indicate an unstable mission.
To note , i have TADST installed and yes i am using all the correct parameters @life_server;@extDB and i have setup my database correctly
The remote server ip for arma i am assuming to connect for my server is 95.172.92.100:2302
Please advise

Port 2302 is reported as closed. Have you placed the game server executable in the list of programs allowed to connect to the internet? If not, you need to do that by default for Windows. This can be done in the Windows firewall.

What do you mean? filters shouldn't be the issue. You should just need to add the game server executable to the list of programs allowed to connect to the internet. The port is still being reported as closed.

Re: Dedicated box - no show on server list
The server is now working fine. I find it ok in the multiplayer server list for arma 3.
What i am saying is; when i try to connect to my game server from my arma 3 game; the i:p does not find the server.
I have configured firewall. However if firewall was an issue i wouldnt find it via filter as it would not allow the connection at all.
The only way i find my server in arma 3 server list is via filter,

Oh you meant server browser filters, not firewall filters.dean_m_1100 wrote:The server is now working fine. I find it ok in the multiplayer server list for arma 3.

If filtering for your server works, then your server is properly reporting to the master server. Clients often limit the amount of results it can get in the server browser by default.
