How can I reduce CPU usage?

My rust server continues to crash, and I need to reduce my CPU usage, please help.

Lower the slot count.

If you are being forcibly restarted by NFO's systems for using a lot of CPU, you can disable it if you are on a Managed VDS or dedi. You may also be able to get it removed by opening a ticket and letting them know high CPU usage is expected for your service.

I already supported a help ticket and they responded by telling me my Cores is at max due Rust not taking advantage of it. Rust server continues to crash, etc.

Is your concern about the automated Event posted saying the server has been restarted for using over 98% CPU?

Okay, probably the only way you can lower your CPU usage is reducing the slot count of your server. What is it at currently?

150, I'm going to reduce it to 100. I think that would be best until I upgrade.

Even 100 would probably be way too much for a VDS. I have limited experience with Rusts resource consumption, but I would aim for 75 max.

As it turns out, reducing to 75 players and removing some oxide plugins worked. I had 92 people on the server yesterday and everything was running smooth. Today, some updates came out and I'm guessing they messed up a lot, again.

Last update caused our server to be wiped, I was pissed. You would probably do better to keep your VDS at 75 and map size at 4000, should give you a playable server. Whenever there is a new update, I am always a little nervous.
