I'm seeing a lot more traffic thru my server and in turn my clan website and forum, do you guys have an affiliate program?

We do not have a current affiliate system(though one is in the works), but we do have a referral system. Just have users use your server identifier when ordering and you'll get a referral credit. These credits allow you to make changes to your server at no cost, such as high CPU priority, extra slots or stats.

So an actual affiliate program would be nice. It would convince me to actually add a banner to our site.

Yes, the current referral system is not fully cross-compatible. Game servers can only refer game servers and voice servers can only refer voice servers. Dedicated servers and Virtual servers do not have a referral system at the moment.

Yes, that is our goal with the affiliate system. Any business brought to us through your affiliate link would result in a payout to you. You could use that payout in anyway, such as knocking a little off of a VDS payment.

How you use the affiliate system is completely up to you. I assume most would use a banner/link on their website/forum. Any signup through that link would result in a specific amount, and after a minimum amount you'd be able to cash out. Once cashed out you can use the money in anyway, such as subsidizing a VDS payment.

I don't think he gets he will just have to wait for a proper working affiliate program, like the rest of us. Been here a few years now, and still waiting patiently for such a thing as well.

You can also check out another new, gamer-hosted ad service. I have no account experience with it, but I can tell you that the owners of CS:GO idle servers with full 64/64 instances are raking in almost half their salary I'm sure.

Plus, unless you have an advertisement remove installed on your COMPUTER (not your web browser), those ads are always displaying.. and every time you connect to the server they display again. If you leave the motd open, it just keeps meta refreshing it into endless pages of advertisements all in video and image form. But it is VERY annoying. The player must have HTML MOTD enabled for videos to work.
