Server gotten null routed, automatic repair, and gone

Post by Garnet »

Hello NFO's community,
I run a five Gmod servers currently, and one of them which happens to be the 4th biggest in the game over-all was nullrouted last night for eight hours, very upset knowing I have nothing to do, I went to sleep and woke up right as the null route was lifted - however, five minutes later the server went down yet again.
I received two emails saying an automatic repair was triggered, but the server seemed to have gotten back online.

I posted a ticket to NFO's support team an hour ago, and I didn't seem to receive a reply yet, so i'm wondering if anybody else has gone through that sort of situation?

if it's worth mentioning, I don't rent a game server, I rent a box.

Thank you!

Is the IP listed as pingable in the managed tab?

We were able to follow up later in the morning about this. A null-route was applied as an emergency response to another attack targeting the server, but the notification for this which should have been posted within minutes was delayed extensively. We're working on a resolution to these delayed event posts now.
