Forums activation email
So i have a forums that when you sign up it sends you a activation email which io was hosting the website off a basic nfo web hosting. Then i moved the database/ftp to a unmanaged 1 core linux vds and now people are reporting that emails arent being sent yet i didnt change anything with the forums about this. Any help?

Re: Forums activation email
What type of forum are you using and what do the mail settings look like?
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Forums activation email
I found this error
MyBB was unable to send the email using the PHP mail() function.
So im having issues with php mail, but i never used SMTP since i see that as a second option. Any fix for the php mail? Or would i have to switch to SMTP

Re: Forums activation email
Well thanks to Charlie from nfo customer service for the help!
I was missing sendmail entirely so i just installed it via vnc console with this command "sudo apt-get install sendmail" and it worked perfectly now.
