Appearently the VDS didn't like me removing 3 roles it no longer needed ( IIS, AD CP, and another useless one. )
I have followed the guide ( viewtopic.php?f=46&t=10584#p56242 ) and I get to step 4 where I need to do something with resolv.conf and I get here: https://gyazo.com/6bf91a6a85520619dbf882f412dd7ee0
and I can't go any further. Does anyone have any tips to help me or anything?

Helping recovering files from VDS

Re: Helping recovering files from VDS
You need to type those in as separate lines, just as they are separate lines in the KB article.
Re: Helping recovering files from VDS
So each line needs to be seperate
So line 1 needs to be
then
then
??
So line 1 needs to be
Code: Select all
ifconfig eth0 66.151.244.239 netmask 255.255.255.0
Code: Select all
route add default gw 66.151.244.254
Code: Select all
eco "nameserver 8.8.8.8" > /etc/resolv.conf

YOU SIR A ****ING LIFE SAVER!
"Tech" support couldn't even tell me that after 30 minutes to an hour with them and I didn't even move anywhere except get more and more frustrated!
Once again thanks so much!

I'm glad that it worked
.
It's strange that the support staff couldn't see that. I will take a closer look at that.
