Hello,
i'm contacting you, since i have few question about dedicatedservers.
1) Which server do you recommend for running: 12slots (with GOTV + 128tick) up to 30-40 gameservers in frankfurt
2) is there ddos protection?
3) is there custom-kernel installed for setup (performance on csgoservers?)
4) is there controlpanel incl for install gameservers? (Do the controlpanel symlink, so i dont fill the drive up with installations of csgoservers?)
5) is there some testservers in frankfurt?
Let me know.
Regards
Mikkel

Re: Question about DedicatedServers
It's difficult to predict the CPU consumption that will occur from 30-40 servers because it depends on how many players each server is using, the maps it runs, etc.
For 12-slot servers, you should be OK with using a VDS and still have very good performance. You might want to consider starting with a VDS, then going to a dedicated machine only if you have problems with FPS dips. Otherwise, you can ust upgrade the VDS to support more servers, or buy a new VDS, and it should be less expensive than using a full machine.
Yes, all of our locations come with an mitigation system that is exclusive to us and is generally considered the best in the industry. While we do not have a guarantee that all attacks can be blocked, we do our best to help customers as much as we can.2) is there ddos protection?
CS:GO runs well on the Windows and the latest Linux distributions out of the box and I would not recommend that you use a special kernel. Using a "real-time" Linux kernel, for instance, would actually reduce performance.3) is there custom-kernel installed for setup (performance on csgoservers?)
With Linux, you mostly need to make sure that you run the servers with an upgraded chrt priority to reduce timer slack, and that you're using a good clock source such as TSC. These can be done with any recent distribution. (With our managed servers, we take care of it for you.)
If you choose a managed installation, we have a control panel. We use optimizations such as hardlinks to decrease consumption and increase perforfmance.4) is there controlpanel incl for install gameservers? (Do the controlpanel symlink, so i dont fill the drive up with installations of csgoservers?)
For our own standalone game servers, a couple of customer servers should show up if you choose the options here: https://www.nfoservers.com/order.php5) is there some testservers in frankfurt?
Re: Question about DedicatedServers
Hey!
1) 12 slots (only for running matchservers with password on e.g.)
3) is it recommended to run with managed linux version? - like with custom-kernel and ultra-quality for gameservers? - is the (custom-kernel too incl on VDS?)
4) is it possible to create (subuser) on the controlpanel?
5) is it limited for order servers (full machine)?

Re: Question about DedicatedServers
Yes, you previously that you were planning to run 30-40 12-slot servers. You asked what type of server you recommended getting, and I did my best to recommend a flexible configuration that would give you high performance at the lowest cost.
Fundamentally, we can't tell what aggregate resources your servers would need, and therefore can't give an up-front precise recommendation, because the actual CPU and memory usage will depend on how busy the servers are (whether they are full at the same time, for instance), what maps they run (some are more intensive than others), whether bots or CPU-intensive plugins are used, and so on.
Whether you use a managed configuration is up to you and depends on your specific needs and knowledge level. For individual servers, managed is usually easiest. For a large number of servers, if you need very fine-level control or something as scriptable and customizable as possible, you might want to go unmanaged.3) is it recommended to run with managed linux version? - like with custom-kernel and ultra-quality for gameservers? - is the (custom-kernel too incl on VDS?)
Yes. We strongly recommend that every person who needs to access the server through our control panel use his or her own account.4) is it possible to create (subuser) on the controlpanel?
I do not know what you mean.5) is it limited for order servers (full machine)?
Re: Question about DedicatedServers
I will disable bots with bot_quota 0 and dont allow bots running on servers. - since there is a "bug" with -nobots in CSGO (i think or about it was -nohltv) where (radar) is bugged, so it's possible to know (where any players is on the map (e.g: de_mirage)Fundamentally, we can't tell what aggregate resources your servers would need, and therefore can't give an up-front precise recommendation, because the actual CPU and memory usage will depend on how busy the servers are (whether they are full at the same time, for instance), what maps they run (some are more intensive than others), whether bots or CPU-intensive plugins are used, and so on.
About there is "Limit" for i can order servers - About it's limited to 2 servers per customer (of full machine)5) is it limited for order servers (full machine)?
