Swear Filter

Hello

I exchanged emails with John many times and he suggested that I might ask my question here for plugin problems.

So I had installed a swear filter plugin off the amxmod.net site that deducts money for offenders.

It was working perfectly last night until today when it was as if it never existed. I reinstalled a different plugin which block only a few words like "shit" even though there were many many other words in my wordlist.cfg list that were not punished in the server.

I'm wondering if there is a problem with the plugin or it's something I'm doing. I spoke with John and told him what I had done and it seemed like everything checked out (added file name to plugin.ini and uploaded amx file).

I'm hoping that someone can help me out it would be really appreciated. Also if there are other plugins that punish for cuss words that would also be ideal too but I only saw maybe 4 plugins on the amxmod.net site

you should double check to make sure the plugin reads off of wordlist.cfg file, also make sure each word is on a new line like:

fuck
shit
ect

After that restart your server and test it. If it doesn't work its most likley the plugin.

We only have one such wordlist and it is the wordlist.cfg file directly under amx.

The server for some reason selectively filters out some words but not others. I believe Nick was helping me out with this problem and he said he had some sort of idea of what was wrong, but I think he's afk right now.

Anyhow just thought I'd let you know. A similar problem happened with a different plugin, where it filtered 'shit' but did not filter the f word immediately after I typed it.

So I'm thinking it can't be a coincidence.
