Trying to connect to SMTP server

I am trying to hook up the Wordpress with the NFOservers SMTP server but having some issues here. I'm not too sure why it's not working and hoping someone here can chime in.

Try it without SSL. NFO's mail server hates it.

For the username are you entering the full email address? If not, you should be.

If you are connecting from a webhosting account, we do not allow that type of proxied email configuration. You will need to send emails using the local machine's facility instead.

Our mail server works great with SSL, Naleksuh, so please don't say that it doesn't. I strongly recommend using SSL for regular email clients. The easiest way is to use port 587 and STARTTLS (for SMTP) and port 143 and STARTTLS (for IMAP).
