reserved slot

I am trying to add a reserved slot for an admin that can be used by the public until an admin comes and he will get auto kicked. I have messed with the reserved slots but everytime I try it just reduces the number of available slots by 1. Am I doing something wrong or can this not be done?

there are supposed to be plugins that do that for you but as far as i can tell, none of them work

Reserved slot plugins have to reduce the total playable slots on the server by at least one. Otherwise, when the server is full, nobody can join it to accept the reserve slot.

Yeah, if you want a reserved slot and you want 14 slots you should get 15 slots so you know you will always have 14 people in the server
