Hi, I currently have a VDS in Chicago with 8 cores/8GB mem and I am trying to add a secondary IP address to it. I noticed that the base price for that server is now $55.99 (I am paying $47.99 for the same). I thought adding an IP costs $2.99/month but it is trying to charge me $58.98.

Base prices change at times, yes. They may go up or down, depending on our own costs. Costs on our end have unfortunately risen sharply recently (as has been happening across the economy).
