Fps help

Hi, ive been having problems with my Fps on counter strike it stays on
20-40. So ive tryed devlpoer 1 and fps_max 100. So if you got something
differnt, HELP!!.

Where are you getting these numbers, and why are you typing those commands?

I just tryed them, thats all. So back to what i was asking is there anyother things to do to fix this.

so you are having problems with your computer's FPS? or the server's?
forgive us for asking so many questions, but we dont fully understand yours.
edit after re-reading this thread it looks like you are indeed talking about your computer. If you are only getting 20-40 FPS after doing fps_max 100, that would lead me to assume that your video card might not beable to run counter-strike at higher fps. If your video card has the option, disable Vertical Sync (V-Sync). Also try updating your drivers for the card.

No problem, but i upgraded my driver and it it worked at frist than it came back to how it was.

You might try looking at the forums on http://www.steampowered.com to see if someone else has had your problem.

we are support for Game Servers, not clients. You need to go to http://www.steampowered.com and look on their forums like Edge100x said earlier.

there is nothing else we can do, but steer you into the right direction.
