Hello, was just wondering if you guys have looked into doing some new autoinstallers for the unmanaged machines? I use debian + react/databases a lot, and essentially whenever i make a new machine, i have to re do a bunch of stuff again. Sure i could make my own scripts and what not, but figured i'm probably not the only person that's wished there was some more features for the unmanaged machines!
I recently just started using Cockpit for debian, i'm not sure how "officially supported" stuff works or if it is, but it seems to be. Basically just something where administering my server is simpler, would be nice
I know NFOServers is primarily for gaming servers, but i've actually been using NFOServers for more professional/business applications, and there's some tools that would be nice to use, which i believe competitors already kind of implement (idk all whats out there, but the VDS control panel has looked about the same for awhile now)
also, i'd be down for testing/helping implementations! I started out renting NFOServers when i was about 16, I am now 30. i would like to help out how i can (beyond just this subject)
Also to be able to auto backup would be HUGE, please implement this to the control panel! Maybe being able to have saved instances too, kinda like dockers but without using docker (i've never really used docker, but it'd be nice to have some pre configured builds). I basically run on a lean server, so i will wipe the server and change it's use often
thanks for reading!

Re: New Autoinstallers/more control panel features
For initial setup of VDSes? Yes, we've been working on this, both in terms of customer-provided scripts and our own provided scripts.
Anything that uses extra disk space is more expensive to do (backups/duplicate images/etc). Not impossible, of course, but customers have not been very open to higher prices.

Ah ok, makes sense
I'm a noob to the whole automating/scripting of this sort of thing, thanks for the detailed response!
