Reserve slot (again)

Ok I have 1 reserve slot with a reserve type_1. All I want it to be able to get into my server whenever I want. I'm still getting the server full screen when I log on. I have tried to mix up the reserve types and the reserve numbers but still no luck. Does the reserve slot recognize full admin or do I need to set up some password? Actually is there a way to password the slot? ANY help on this is appreicated. I have been through the other forums and IRC but still no luck. Thanks again.

To take advantage of a reserved slot, you'd need to connect to the server through the game console. Load up the game, and then type a line like:

connect yourserver.nuclearfallout.net

That bypasses the Steam client's server capacity check, and lets the server itself decide whether to let you through (in this case, allowing you to use the reserved slot).

Im lost already! Where is the game console? and is "yourself" my steam id or my game name?

look at your steam menu, open up games. Double click on counterstrike.

This will load the game. Hit the console button, and type connect serverip or dns, edge was stating yourserver is the same as like your identifier, identifier.nuclearfallout.net or likewise. It can be your ip.

Once you type that in, hit enter.

you should start connecting...
